Kadhi
Indredients:
- 1/4 cup
yogurt
- 3 cups water
- 2/3 cup besan (chickpea
or garbanzo flour)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 T. sugar
- 1 inch piece of
ginger
- 1 inch piece green
chili
- 1 T. oil
- 1 tsp. cumin
seeds
- Mix yogurt, water,
besan, salt, and sugar.
- Mince ginger and chili,
then puree in food processor,. if desired, and
add.
- Boil 15
minutes.
- In a separate pan, heat
oil, and fry cumin seeds for about 1
minute.
Stir into kadhi, and serve.
